Relief Store Clerk/Sorting Room Worker

Location:  Venice, Florida

Position Type: Part Time – 20 hours/week

Pay Range: $16.29/hr

About this opportunity:

The Relief Store Clerk/Sorting Room Worker receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store. Additionally, they will assist store customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items.

Key responsibilities:

• Works in store warehouse sorting, pricing and preparing donated items for sales floor.
• Operates and maintains a cash register and responds to customer’s questions.
• Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the store displays and ensures the security of store items and the cash register.

What we are looking for in you:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D., and 
• one year progressively responsible experience working in a retail store and six months operating a cash register, or
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a normal store environment where there is little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather.
