204 - Credit Quality East - Administrative Analyst

 

Job Reporting Relationships

 

            Supervised by:         Director of Underwriting & Regional Credit Officer-Central Team or Regional Credit Officer-East or West Team

 

               Supervises:               None

 

 

Basic Qualifications

 

Education/Training:  Paralegal Certification or associate degree in related field preferred or equivalent relevant experience; obtain and maintain appropriate Bank Product Knowledge Certification.

 

Skill(s):  Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations communicative, and sales skills; credit underwriting and/or credit administration knowledge; ability to utilize software tools and conduct credit analysis; a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank commercial products and services; visual and auditory skills; valid driver’s license.

 

Experience:  A minimum of two (2) years’ related experience normally required.

 

General Responsibilities

 

Responsible for performing administrative duties to support the commercial underwriting function; performing a variety of other duties to support the bank’s Credit Quality Department; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the Credit Quality Department; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.

 

 

 

Essential Duties

 

1.         Perform administrative duties to support the Credit Quality department of which the following are illustrative:

 

a.         Reviews loan & ACH application and financial information for completeness, follows up on any missing information with the branches and/or lending team, and gathers support information for the new loan requests.

 

b.         Provides support preparing loan and ACH requests within loan decision & review system.

 

c.         Order various reports to support loan requests and/or annual relationship reviews including, but not limited to credit reports, flood certificates, environmental transaction screens, and OFACs.

 

d.         Assists with appraisal requests, attorney memos and scheduling of loan closings.

 

e.         Prepares denial letters and maintains denied/withdrawn loan files.

 

f.          Provide support in preparing & processing new loans which includes completing checklists and verification of CRA and/or HMDA as well as setting up ticklers and covenants.

 

g.         Maintain & update tickler system and Vault/paper credit files.

           

 

h.         Monitor, process, and authorize line of credit renewals and extensions up to an authorization limit as well as ACH annual renewals.

 

  1. Monitor, process and provide support for large commercial loan relationships annual reviews.

 

j.          Complete FSA/SBA/USDA annual loan reviews and letter of credit renewals.

 

k.         Complete scrub of CRA and HMDA forms.

 

l.          Maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for the department. 

 

m.        Filing, maintenance of various logs, and other administrative duties.

 

n.         Completion and maintenance of various reports and approved vendor lists.

 

o.         Work on special projects as assigned.

 

  1. Provides support for the preparation of all necessary commercial loan documents via the loan document preparation system. 

 

  1. Provides support for the commercial loan post-closing review function including, but not limited to confirmation of loan closing in compliance with approval and loan policy, verification of loan documents, and validation of support documentation.

 

 

  1. Coordinate specific work tasks with other key personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.

 

  1. Abide by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.

 

  1. Cooperate with, participate in, and support the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Reg B), Flood Disaster Protection Act, etc.

 

  1. Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel.

 

  1. Respond to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

 

  1. Communicate with management and staff personnel in order to integrate goals and activities.

 

  1. Maintain appropriate records and provides assigned reports.

Full Time Employment Benefits: Fulltime hourly-paid employees will be provided 12-days of Paid Time Off (PTO), that is accrued 1-day for each month worked.  After the completion of 90-days of employment accrued PTO can be used for any purpose including being paid for absences or vacation time. At the end of the first year of employment, any unused PTO will be converted to the employee’s sick time accrual.  Sick time will begin accruing effective on the employees first year anniversary up to 120 days.  At that point, PTO is no longer available; and any paid absence will be eligible under the sick, vacation, personal and family sick pay policy. After one year of service the employee is eligible for their annual vacation benefit.

Salaried-paid employees are not eligible for PTO and accrue paid sick days at 1-day per month; and any vacation time that has been approved for the 1st year of employment.

12 paid holidays, 2 Personal days, 2 Family Sick days, 2 Volunteer Days after completion of 90 days of employment.  Eligible for Health Care, Dental and Vision (single and family) the first of the month following 30 days of full-time employment. 401(k) eligible on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment with employer match available. Company Wellness Program. Company Stock program available after 1 year of employment. Annual Performance Reviews completed, and salary increase amount given based on individual performance.

 

 

This position is an hourly position eligible for overtime.

 

Salary Range

Minimum: $15.00

Maximum: $28.87
