The Impact You Will Make

The Supply Chain Master Planner is responsible for developing and executing strategic supply chain plans that optimize inventory, production, and demand planning. This role ensures alignment with business objectives by integrating APICS principles, managing inventory effectively, and overseeing the Material Review Board (MRB) process to drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute supply chain planning strategies that align with APICS principles, including Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Inventory Optimization, to ensure efficient material flow and resource allocation.
  • Lead long-term demand and supply planning efforts by analyzing historical trends, market dynamics, and business forecasts to create accurate demand plans that support strategic growth.
  • Implement capacity planning strategies to align production schedules with forecasted demand, ensuring long-term resource availability and minimizing constraints.
  • Optimize inventory management by maintaining optimal stock levels, reducing excess inventory, and improving inventory turnover while ensuring production continuity.
  • Develop and maintain S&OP processes to align cross-functional teams on long-term supply and demand forecasts, ensuring business objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure supplier and production capabilities align with long-term demand projections.
  • Continuously improve supply chain processes by applying APICS methodologies, Lean principles, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Utilize ERP and advanced planning tools to generate data-driven insights, track inventory, and optimize supply chain decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand accuracy, supply performance, inventory turnover, and overall supply chain efficiency, driving data-driven decision-making.to drive continuous improvement.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of APICS principles and best practices in supply chain management.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and demand planning tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years relevant work experience.
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbally in a clear and professional manner.
  • Strong business acumen and an analytical mind. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Computer skills which include Microsoft Office (with an emphasis on Excel), ERP Systems, Quality Management Systems

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • MBA or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management
