Full Time Field Service Technician – Corpus Christi, TX

Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Full Time Kiosk Technician in the Corpus Christ/Laredo, TX area.

You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk repair and service Technician training on key duplicating, tag engraving kiosks as well as 3^rd party service. The territory consists of 70+ kiosks and number of hours per week is around 40. This is an hourly plus commission route with an estimated pay of 55k per year.  Car allowance will be provided along with a corporate gas card for business miles.  Cities include Corpus Christi, Laredo, Victoria among others.

Job Description:

• Primary contact with our customer locations.
• Restocks kiosks, orders product, cleans, does preventative maintenance, and responds to service and repair dispatches as needed. (Typically taking 1-2 Hrs. per machine x 1-2 times per month)
• The schedule for routine service calls is flexible within the week, however Saturday service is sometimes required (we are a retail company).
• Unscheduled service calls require an ETA within 4 hours and on-site visit within 24 hours.

Responsibilities:

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.
• Install of machines in the local area.
• Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
• Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in the Kiosk Tech’s possession.
• Conduct store meetings and interact with store management on a routine basis to ensure a good working relationship with our clients and promote the machine to improve revenue.
• Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED

• The Kiosk tech will have good trouble-shooting skills, mechanical and electro-mechanical skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions very carefully.

• Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to always represent Hillman professionally

• Ability to work weekends when required

Operational Equipment

• Must have a good driving record with a valid driver's license
