Position Title: Manager, Data Analytics
Job Description:
Perform data analysis, extraction, transformation and loading of healthcare data. Provide assistance for health care business processes involving Care Optimization and risk adjustments for healthcare data analytics using SQL, Python, SAS (Statistical and Analysis Software), Big data and various software languages/tools. Analyze healthcare data and develop data extract/transformation/load components using SQL/SSIS/SAS. Develop SQL and Python Algorithms to detect fraudulent insurance claims and to tune performance of monthly data loads. Participate in review and revision of existing systems for updates and enhancements for healthcare products. Handle new implementations, changes to existing layouts/data load code, automation development, performance optimization and database maintenance such indexing, and fragmentation. Coordinate and prioritize analytic projects, (client communication, planning, and identifying operational process flow). Perform SAS/SQL data analysis and mapping to build healthcare SAS data warehouses after reviewing client data feeds. Use SQL and SAS tools to conduct data cleaning, transformation, validation, and model building. Develop macros and automated solutions for ETL operations. Migrate legacy systems to Spark Big data for product and system scalability. Interpret and analyze multi-dimensional medical, provider, pharmacy, onsite clinic claims data, as well as enrollment data to accurately assess and demonstrate key insights into key trends and opportunities in data warehousing. Ensure monthly data loads are performed, ETL summary reports are generated, and quality checks are performed in a timely manner. Automate production data loads per defined standards and perform ad hoc analysis of data sources for external and internal requirements. Assist development team to identify suitable technologies for product enhancements and developed automated solutions using SSIS, SQL, and Python. Optimize data load scripts to handle high volume data. Provide product support for defect triaging, fixes and testing. Write programs to perform the claims adjustment logic and perform unit testing. Identify fields, which need indexes and create indexes accordingly. Customize the production and automation code for layout change, claims adjustment logic or client data requirement change per defined process. Provide support to application, selection and analytics teams for data related questions. De-identify data for development environments, per HIPAA standards. Act as operations lead by mentoring and guiding fellow analysts in data validation, programming for product enhancements. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.
Job Requirements:
Requires Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field plus three (3) years of Experience in healthcare business. Must have at least three (3) years of experience with the following: Enterprise application design, development, and support. Optimizing SQL data processing performance and running SQL queries to validate data. Designing and developing new data quality processes. Programming in SAS, SQL, and Python utilizing Hadoop big data architecture and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Online analytical processing (OLAP), ETL frameworks, and ETL DataLoad. Tableau and PowerBI. Python scripting and automation. Providing healthcare business solutions for Risk Adjustment and Care Optimizations processes. Programming in SAS, SQL, and Python utilizing Hadoop big data architecture. Experience in data migration from on-prem to Azure cloud with expertise in Azure. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience in healthcare business in lieu of a Master’s degree plus three (3) years of experience required in healthcare business.
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $170,000 to $180,000 per year.
