What you will do:
We are looking for a Office Service Specialist who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the position will look like.
- Answers all incoming calls to the reception desk and directs calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Greets visitors and maintains visitor logs and security badge distribution.
- Coordinates messenger pick-up and maintains package delivery log;notifies recipients of package arrival.
- Assists with scheduling conference rooms with building ownership at both office locations when conference space outside AMS suites is requested.
- Assists with general administrative and clerical duties for the company as determined and delegated by the Facilities Manager.
- Processes mail including but not limited to the following: opening, date stamping, sorting, processing and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Logs returned mail with postage information for company tracking of lost funds.
- Sorts, date stamps, and scans received daily claims according to all documented processes and deadlines.
- Sorts, date stamps, and scans received daily member appeal requests and delivers daily appeals to Appeals team within AMS suites.
- Coordinates with claims department any scanned claims issues with Trizetto.
- Operates and maintains postage equipment efficiently. Monitors and ensures that the postage meters have the appropriate funds at the corporate office.
- Completes monthly forms for post office refund requests for all incorrectly posted mail and works with Facilities Manager to ensure forms are turned into the post office at the corporate office.
- Maintains break room inventories, stocking and cleaning.
- Maintains AMS conference rooms weekly.
- Provides recommendations to company staff addressing the most cost effective and efficient mailing procedures.
- Completes daily quality control checks of outgoing mail and any in house print jobs, noting quality control concerns and corrected errors in quality control spreadsheets.
- Maintains a professional, respectful and high standard of customer service with staff, including verbal, electronic or voice mail communications.
- Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new processes involving mail processing, printing, document processing, in-house printing, etc.
- Maintains inventory for company-wide stationary supplies and special orders items for all departments. Oversees vendor deliveries and ensures that goods ordered are received.
- Assists the Facilities Manager with refilling printers, organizing printed materials, delivering requested printed materials to associates, and stuffing and/or labeling envelopes, etc.
- Conducts inspections to maintain an orderly appearance of the Corporate office.
- Assists with basic printer/copier/fax machine maintenance, including but not limited to: changing toners, clearing jams and error messages, stocking of paper at all printer stations and assisting with copier vendor management as requested.
- Assists with the delivery of needed paper to departments as requested.
What you will bring:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of one to two years’ receptionist, call center or mail room experience preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish is desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of multi-phone lines, scanners, copiers/printers and other office equipment. Good organizational skills and strong telephone/customer service skills. Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision and values. Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent follow through. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Health Care Terms.
May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.
Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.

Pay, Perks and Benefits at Colorado Access:
The compensation for this position is $51,600.00 to $56,500.00 annually and is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Colorado Access has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Colorado Access may pay for the position at the time of posting. Colorado Access may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Where you will work:
This position will be a hybrid model work environment, a blend of ‘In-Office’ and ‘Remote.’
