Location: Jamestown, ND
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Job Schedule: Full Time

JOB SUMMARY
The Paratransit Operator transports individuals served by Anne Carlsen to and from doctor’s appointments, lab work, mail, and miscellaneous items. This position acts as a courier for the Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may be asked to provide transportation to community based programs. This Paratransit Operator assumes the authority, responsibility, and accountability for seeing that all policies and procedures are followed by each occupant being transported, that the safety of the Center’s vehicles is maintained, and that facility Risk and Quality Management policies are adhered to.
This position works within the guidelines of Anne Carlsen policies/procedures, State and Federal Laws, Rules, and Regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)
This position will meet the following minimum requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have and maintain a clean valid driver's license
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:
- Successfully complete Anne Carlsen required trainings witch includes (CPI) Crisis Prevention Intervention and CPR
- Ability to fuel and maintain vehicle fleet. Keep vehicles in good repair.

Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills; being tactful, courteous, and diplomatic with internal and external contacts.
Ability to adapt to rapid change, and must be able to intervene promptly in crisis/emergency situations. -
Ability to support, interpret, implement, and communicate AC, State, and Federal policies, procedures, laws, rules and regulations for the department.

Understand and have a working knowledge of Windows environment Intranet and Internet technology.

Ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in meaningful ways using: email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
