Bartender
Job Description: As a Bartender at Gilmore's Pub, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service while enjoying a high-quality bar experience. You will be responsible for setting up and cleaning the bar area, mixing and serving all alcoholic beverages, and handling cash transactions. Your role will be key in maintaining the flow of the bar and contributing to a friendly, enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving alcoholic beverages for dine-in and take-out customers
- Set up and clean the bar area before, during, and after shifts
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer balances
- Engage with guests, take orders, and offer personalized drink recommendations
- Ensure that all drinks are made according to company standards and cocktail recipes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bar area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines
- Work closely with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Be proactive in addressing guest concerns and providing friendly, efficient service
- Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all local regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending or restaurant experience is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Knowledge of mixology and classic cocktail recipes
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
