Position Summary 

 

The role of the Wellness Ambassador is responsible for conductinghealth screenings for employees, visitors, and patients, including taking temperature readings, administering health questionnaires, and providing information on health and safety protocols. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Conduct health screenings for employees, visitors, and patients using established protocols, including taking temperature readings, administering health questionnaires, and providing guidance on health and safety protocols. 

  • Review screening results and determine appropriate next steps, such as referring individuals to a healthcare provider, isolating them for observation, or denying access to the facility. 

  • Ensure confidentiality of all health-related information obtained during screening activities. 

  • Provide education on health and safety protocols, including proper hand hygiene, social distancing, and the use of personal protective equipment. 

  • Maintain accurate records of all screening activities, including tracking the number of individuals screened, their screening results, and any follow-up actions. 

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and facility staff to follow all health and safety protocols. 

  • Communicate effectively, providing clear and accurate informationabout the screening process and results while screening people.  

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Educational Requirements:High School or GED 

  • Years of Experience: Entry Level 

  • Language Skills:Proficient in English, both verbally and written 

 

Requirements: 

  • You must be 18 or older to apply. 

  • Maintain uniform standards 

  • Maintain a professional and polite manner. 

  • Adheres to VPNE’s attendance policy 

  • Be able and willing to smile during every customer interaction. 

  • Maintain uniform standards while around the account. 

  • Ability to create relationships with customers 

  • Organization and strong problem-solving abilities 

  • Ability to effectively maneuver around various locations both inside and outside while engaging in bending, prolonged standing, running, and prolonged sitting in all weather conditions 

  • Ability to receive medical and security clearance for one or more locations 

  • When necessary, possessthe manual dexterity to operateessential office equipment, including computers. 

  • Possess the mental acuity to be able to read thermometers and give clear and concise information to patients.
