Garages/Lots-Garage Valet
The Garage Valet Attendant is a customer service position involving parking and retrieving vehicles for customers. The primary responsibility of a garage valet is to provide a positive and efficient parking experience for customers and to make a fantastic impression through every interaction by engaging with our guests and customers in a positive and friendly manner, giving them the best experience possible while providing safe and efficient service.
Responsibilities

Keep the safety of self and others in mind at all times.

You will park customers’ vehicles in designated parking spots, ensuring they are parked safely and securely, minimizing the potential for accidents.

Keep track of keys and vehicles throughout the garage.

Provide exceptional guest experience.

Maintain organization at operation.

Be enthusiastic about the job, creating a positive environment for the customers and teammates to enjoy

Use professional communication and VPNE approved language choices.

Help facilitate transition at the end of the shift.

Provide information about the garage, such as the hours of operation, rates, or any special promotions upon request.

Always maintain neatly groomed appearance.

Cleaning duties as assigned

Adhere to the VPNE attendance policy.

You will adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate safety gear and promptly reporting any hazards or incidents.

Ability to fill out damage or accident supports
Years of Experience: Entry Level
Language Skills: Proficient in English, both verbally and written
Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old

Able to smile during customer interactions

Possess an upbeat personality, a willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic

Maintain uniform standards when on job premises

Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English

Ability to move quickly.

Ability to organize cars efficiently

Ability to stand for long periods

Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

Possess a valid Driver’s License

Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check

Ability to create relationships with customers

Be organized

Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE’s current insurance provider
