We are looking to hire someone with a minimum of 3 years experience in Financial Aid
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Financial Aid Representative – Continuing Students is responsible for assisting students in navigating the
setup of aid to help cover their tuition as well as monitoring their progression throughout their program. This
consists of, but is not limited to, guiding students through relevant applications, recalculating eligibility, and
counseling students on how eligibility changes may affect their finances. Daily responsibilities on the
Continuing Team vary as tasks shift with student’s lifecycle. At times it is application heavy and at others
processing, recalculating, and auditing take on more of a priority. To be successful in the role requires a
deeper understanding of how aid progresses, ability to quickly reconcile a ledger, very close attention to detail,
and the ability to explain more complicated situations in a way that is meaningful for the student.
Is a steward of the Student Finance Department:
Keep sensitive information safe and secure;
Shows promptly for scheduled meetings and calls;
Successfully implement new procedures
Fosters an engaged working relationship with institution counterparts
Other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent, Associate degree preferred
- Prior financial aid experience of at least 2 years Associates degree, Bachelor’s preferred.

The expected hourly range for this position is between $21.64 and $25.24. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
