Career Services Representative
The Career Services Representative is responsible for the delivery of services and outcomes that support the primary objective of the Career Services Function. Primary functions are student graduate job search, interviewing guidance, employer relationships and meeting placement goals. The Career Services Representative works directly with students, alumni and employers with the purpose of successfully attaining their career aspirations and employment goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain regular contact with employers to develop partnerships including, but not limited to, identifying viable job opportunities, externships and marketing opportunities.
- Match appropriate resumes to job orders and distribute resumes promptly.
- Assist employers in facilitating hiring process: contacting students, graduates for interviews.
- Advise students, graduates and alumni on career services issues including: job search strategies, resume development and interviewing.
- Work with students to educate and prepare them for their future careers utilizing career advising techniques, career development strategies and career education and preparation techniques.
- Conduct workshops on resume writing, interviewing, job search techniques and other career related topics.
- Research and communicate current job postings to active candidates on a regular basis.
- Create, coordinate, and facilitate student engagement and job readiness related educational opportunities in the form of industry information sessions.
- Ensure student and graduate employment information is maintained up to date in official student database system.
- Ensure appropriate documentation is collected to support reported graduate employment or waiver statuses for accreditation.
- Ensure regular use of official student database system to report student/ graduate contact activity, employer contact activity, job opportunities, externship opportunities and employments.
- Upload regulatory career services documents into official student database system.
- Assist in collection of graduate surveys, employer surveys, and employment verifications.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent, Associates preferred
- 3 years’ experience in career services

The expected salary range for this position is between $58,000 and $64,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
