Summary:
Thayer Infrastructure Services is the parent company of leading brands in the infrastructure space, including Thayer Power & Communication, LeCom, Dynetek Solutions, and others. We specialize in providing innovative and reliable solutions in power, fiber, wireless, and other critical infrastructure markets. As a growing organization, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contracts & Compliance Manager to join our team and support our expanding operations.
Responsibilities:
- Contract Management:
- Track, organize, and maintain contracts across Thayer’s operating companies to ensure compliance and timely renewals.
- Redline and review new contracts to align with company policies, working closely with Thayer’s leadership and business development teams.
- Coordinate with outside legal counsel on contract negotiations, revisions, and other legal matters.
- Legal Notices:
- Manage legal notices in collaboration with outside legal counsel, ensuring proper documentation and timely responses.
- Act as a point of contact for legal communications impacting Thayer’s operating companies.
- Licensing Compliance:
- Oversee state and local contractor licensing requirements for Thayer and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance across all jurisdictions.
- Track license renewals, applications, and ongoing requirements to avoid lapses.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Partner with Thayer’s internal teams, including operations, business development, and finance, to align contract terms with strategic goals.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on contract status, licensing compliance, and legal matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in contract management, compliance, or a related role.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and the ability to redline and review contracts.
- Experience working with external legal counsel is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with contract management software or tools is a plusProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
