Enterprise Data Steward (HYBRID MA)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Enterprise Data Steward to join our dynamic team in Worcester, MA location. Position is eligible for Hybrid/Flex work arrangement.
This is a full time, exempt role.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Enterprise Data Steward will be responsible for establishing processes for stewards to execute their activities and communicate their actions to their peer stewards and other business users/roles. This role involves collaborating with various departments to advocate for and promote education of staff on data access, literacy, and stewardship.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Collaborate on the development of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and report on data quality and integrity across all data sources and systems.
- Collaborate with data owners and stewards to define data standards and best practices.
- Conduct data quality assessments to identify and resolve data issues.
- Maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories within Purview.
- Provide training and support to data users on data quality best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data and model governance policies.
- Work with IT and business teams to support efforts that drives our business forward.
- Work with Business Data Stewards to design and recommend data lifecycle and process improvement opportunities
- Report on data quality metrics and performance.
- Support data stewardship activities.
- Promote data literacy across the organization.
WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US WITHOUT REQUIRING SPONSORSHIP NOW OR IN THE FUTURE (MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREENCARD HOLDER)
- Proven experience in data management, data governance, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data quality tools and technologies.
