Essential Job Function:

 

Supervise the receipt, dispatching and storage of merchandise and assets in the warehouse.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
  • Oversee asset management and organization in an inventory management system.
  • Ensure the maintenance of company assets including but not limited to, golf carts, forklift, fleet vehicles and Asset Management System.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks, reconciling discrepancies, and updating the inventory management system
  • Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
  • Ensure safety of staff
  • Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles
  • Assist with deliveries where required.

 

  • Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Operations and Logistics or other Club personnel.
  • Subject to reasonable accommodations, position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in warehouse management, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years management experience required.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

 

 

  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in industry terminology and facility capabilities
  • Capable and certified to drive a forklift and vertical lift.
  • Decision making capabilities with respect to duties and responsibilities including budget allocation and resource expenditure.
  • Policy setting capabilities associated with the job’s purpose and essential responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop solid working relationships at all levels across the organization and externally.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction to complete personal goals and as a team member in order to accomplish department goals.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
  • Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software applications.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Occasional travel related to job duties and responsibilities in between NRG Park and Kirby Box Office.
  • Medium Work (lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds)
  • Must be able to talk, stand, walk, sit, drive, bend, squat, climb, twist and reach as necessary.
