Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Specialty Services Route Supervisor the
Specialty Services Technician is responsible for client special requests. 

Work will be Monday-Friday. Hours vary and performed mainly during 2nd shift, possible OT and weekend work!
Pay rate is between $20/per hour- $25/per hour
General cleaning and disinfecting. Duties may include floor work, pressure washing, window
cleaning and any other client requests as needed to maintain the site.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Cleans offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways,
locker rooms, and other areas. Replenishes paper and soap products in bathrooms, cleans
mirrors, walls, showers, sinks, metal work and toilets. Empties wastebaskets, and empties
and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums and/or refinishes floors. This may include stripping and waxing.
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Washes walls, ceilings, vents
and woodwork. Washes windows, blinds, door panels, ledges and sills. Cleans water
fountains. Dusts furniture, light fixtures, and equipment. Replaces light bulbs.
• Uses pressure washer to clean and maintain appearance of outdoor facility including
structure, walk ways, and grounds.
• Spray, wipe and disinfect offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors,
elevators, stairways, locker rooms, vehicles, golf carts, buses and other areas.
• Disinfect all high-touch points (i.e. doorknobs, light switches, sink faucets, water
fountains, elevator buttons or restroom surfaces).
• Operates various types of equipment and machinery, which include wet vacuums, hand
trucks, vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, floor buffers, automatic scrubbers, etc.
• Works as part of a team
• Able to read, understand and communicate chemical application instructions, particularly
those involving dilution rates and disinfectant dwell times
• Communicates with team and customer(s) in a professional, knowledgeable manner
• Completes occasional pathogen remediation
• Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Required:
● Must possess a valid driver’s license and able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check! (MVR)
● Ability to travel local and/or long distance (up to 65%)
● Previous general cleaning experience preferred
● Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
● Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
● Knowledge of cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization techniques are required
● Knowledge of pressure washing.
● Knowledge of stripping, waxing, buffing and/or burnishing floors.
● May have on-call responsibilities
● Ability to obtain and maintain certification

The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The
employee is occasionally required to talk or hear. The employee must lift / move up to 35
