Part Time Building Services Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time General Cleaner in Roanoke. You will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for students, faculty, and staff.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM (25 hours per week)

Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Floors: Mopping and sweeping hard floors.
• Surfaces: Dusting furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Waste Management: Emptying trash and recycling bins and ensuring proper disposal.
• Sanitization: Cleaning and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to maintain a healthy environment.
• Restrooms: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Classrooms: Vacuuming carpets and hard floors in classrooms.
• Performing other general cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
