Shipping Clerk

Position: Shipping Clerk

Scheduled: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm

Pay rate: $22

Location: Holly Springs, NC

Position Summary: The Shipping Clerk is responsible for managing the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies within the facility will collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure accurate, timely, and safe shipping of goods. The role includes tracking shipments, maintaining inventory records, performing quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies. Ensure all outgoing shipments are processed correctly and shipped on time.

• Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, including scanning inventory, updating records, and verifying product counts.

• Inspect goods for damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies. Report and resolve any issues promptly to prevent shipment delays.

• Unload incoming shipments, carefully stack and store items in assigned areas.

Transport raw materials to production workstations and move products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.

• Verify the quantity and quality of items received and shipped, ensuring all records and documents are accurate.

• Work closely with customer service representatives, service providers, and internal teams to coordinate and resolve any shipment or inventory issues.

• Operate forklifts and other machinery to move materials safely. 

• Inspect equipment regularly and perform basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
