Job Summary

The Budd Group is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as an Evening General Cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and visitors at a local community college. This is a stable, year-round position perfect for someone looking for consistent evening hours.

Schedule

• Days: Monday through Friday

• Hours: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms thoroughly, including restocking soap and paper products.

• Gather and empty trash and recycling receptacles.

• Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.

• Ensure all assigned areas are clean and maintained to a high standard.

• Secure facility doors and areas as instructed upon completion of work.

• Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform cleaning duties for the duration of the shift.

• A lifetime criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen are required and must be passed for employment.

• Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
