Janitorial Team Leader (Part-Time)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Location: Statesville, NC

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Janitorial Team Leader to oversee our evening cleaning crew. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness and providing effective leadership to a small team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of janitorial staff during the evening shift.

• Conduct inspections to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.

• Train new team members on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.

• Distribute tasks and manage workflow to optimize team productivity.

• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting needs to management.

• Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the shift.

• Perform various cleaning duties as needed, including but not limited to:

  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors

  • Emptying trash and recycling bins

  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and common areas

  • Dusting and wiping down surfaces

  • Restocking supplies

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a janitorial or cleaning role.

• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory position preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning.

• Must be reliable and punctual.
