HOURLY - General Cleaner

Job Title: General Cleaner

Location: Roanoke, VA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

The Budd Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our evening facilities team at a local community college. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.

• Empty trash and recycling receptacles.

• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.

• Ensure classrooms, offices, and common areas are clean and orderly.

• Follow all health and safety regulations.

• Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role is preferred.

• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
