Seasonal Ground Technician (M-F, 7 AM - 5 PM)

Responsibilities

As a Seasonal Ground Technician, you'll be an essential part of our landscape crew, performing a variety of tasks to ensure our properties look their best. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Loading equipment and preparing for daily jobs.
• Operating various landscaping equipment, including blowers, weed-eaters, trimmers, and mowers.
• Performing essential grounds maintenance such as mowing, leaf removal, trimming, edging, and mulching.
• Assisting with the planting and watering of trees and shrubs.
• Distributing granulated fertilizers and grass seeds.
• Performing light grading with hand tools.
• Prioritizing safety for yourself and others, and reporting any unsafe equipment or property damage to your Foreman.
• Notifying your Foreman of any turf/plant diseases, dead material, or quality deficiencies.
• Assisting with snow removal activities when applicable.
• Taking on other duties as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications

• No prior education or experience is required – we're willing to train the right candidate!
• Ability to understand and follow instructions effectively.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.

Work Environment

You'll be working primarily outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration. The work environment can be loud.
