Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Janitorial Site Supervisor to lead our cleaning team at a bustling industrial facility in the Highway 68 area of High Point, NC. This is a hands-on "working supervisor" role, meaning you will be actively involved in cleaning tasks alongside your team, while also managing daily operations.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, 24/7 environment. This role requires flexibility to work all shifts on a rotating schedule, ensuring continuous coverage and effective supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of janitorial staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Perform a variety of cleaning duties, including but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and restroom cleaning.
• Execute and oversee floor care tasks, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage and monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Address and resolve conflict effectively and professionally amongst team members.
• Communicate regularly with facility management to ensure client satisfaction.
• Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general janitorial cleaning.
• Proven experience in floor care (stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet cleaning) highly preferred.
• At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a janitorial or similar setting.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work all shifts on a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have a clean background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
