As our Operations Manager in Greensboro, you'll be the driving force behind our field operations, directly leading multiple landscape crews and fostering excellent client communication. This is your opportunity to define and grow within a supportive, long-established team.
Your Focus:
- Lead and Develop Field Teams: Directly manage around 12-15 crew members, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality work.
- Optimize Scheduling: Efficiently plan and manage work schedules, considering seasonal demands to maximize productivity.
- Cultivate Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring clear communication and strong satisfaction.
- Oversee Field Operations: Manage all on-site activities, including bush hogging, equipment, and labor resources.
- Ensure Service Excellence: Take ownership of both team performance and the quality of service delivered to our clients.
- Manage Winter Operations: Coordinate snow removal services, either directly or through contractors.
- Utilize Key Software: Employ Aspire, Google Sheets, Excel, email, and Dayforce for daily tasks.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Solid understanding of the landscape service lifecycle and its seasonality.
- Strong computer skills and comfort with relevant software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage effective schedules.
- A knack for building positive relationships with both employees and clients.
- Experience with companies like Brightview, Bland Landscaping, Ideal Landscaping, or US Lawns is a plus.
- While not required, a pesticide license is desirable, and we can support you in obtaining it.
Your First Year Successes:
- Achieve proficiency in our operational and scheduling processes.
- Establish strong rapport with your team and our client base.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels.
- Develop a thorough understanding of client service agreements (SOWs).
