About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of janitorial and landscaping services at a client site. In this leadership role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring that all services are delivered with excellence, efficiency, and professionalism. You’ll be responsible for building strong client relationships, managing vendor contracts, leading a high-performing team, and driving continuous improvement in service quality and safety standards. This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge, people management skills, and operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with the client, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and consistent communication

  • Customize and implement service programs based on client needs and site specifications

  • Oversee maintenance operations, including preventive and emergency repairs

  • Manage and monitor performance metrics, budgets, and operational reports

  • Ensure safety programs are implemented and followed across all services

  • Lead and develop a team, including staffing, training, and performance management

  • Oversee third-party service providers, including janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors

  • Ensure all services comply with internal policies and external regulations

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in Facilities Management

  • Strong technical knowledge of janitorial, landscaping, and building systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing)

  • Financial acumen with experience in P&L and budget management

  • Proficient with general business software and reporting tools

  • Strong communication, client service, and team-building skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, facilities management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience such as CFM certification)
