Position Title: Employee Housing Specialist
Department: Human Resources/Housing
Reports to:  Taylor Smith, Employee Housing Property Manger 
FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt]

Proposed: 2:30pm-11:30pm Weekends Mandatory

$18.50/hr full time (please note, there is a DRIVING COMPONENT PM Resort Duties)

Position Summary:
The Employee Housing Specialist plays a key role in supporting employees by ensuring they have a comfortable and well-maintained living environment. This position is responsible for coordinating housing living arrangements, being available to hand out mail and packages, assisting with transportation for all ee’s to return to housing when shift ends, organizing community and internal events, and maintaining shared living spaces. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a positive housing experience for employees.

 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates housing requests and assignments, ensuring fair and efficient allocation of accommodations.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for employee housing concerns, feedback, and suggestions.
  • Organizes and provides transportation for employees to and from work, grocery stores, and special events out of town.
  • Plans, organizes, and hosts employee engagement events to promote community and well-being. (Boise city tour, BSU game, Mall, Idaho State Pen and Botanical Garden tour, occasional airport pick up, drop off)
  • Maintains and cleans common areas, including lounges, hallways, outside grounds, and shared spaces.
  • Cleans and maintains bathrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Cleans and organizes shared kitchen spaces as needed, promoting hygiene and order.
  • Communicates housing policies and updates effectively to residents.
  • Maintains detailed records of housing assignments, maintenance requests, and transportation schedules.
  • Prepares reports and provides recommendations for housing improvements.
  • Point of contact for sports equipment, gym, and outdoor games.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housing management, human resources, or hospitality is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Work Environment:

This position may require working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Work involves both office settings and on-site visits to housing facilities.

Requires ability to perform cleaning and light maintenance tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and driving.
