What does a Machine Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola?

In this position, you will a play a vital role as part of our Production Team, ensuring that we produce quality product in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring equipment, replenishing necessary materials and confirming the quality of our product throughout the production process. Job details:
Schedule: 2pm - 12:30am (schedules are based on seniority, Mon - Fri, OT and weekends, as needed)
Pay: $18.98 - $29.20
This role is seasonal starting from April 15th to September 30th, with potential for full-time transition.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed through production shift
• Set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available and ready to be used to produce
• Visually inspect production run and document results. Confirming quality of product throughout production
• Determine and report malfunctions, safety hazards and product defects to supervisor or manager
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area to maintain safety and performance standards

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
• Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
