Job Objective

The Housekeeping Attendant, under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager, performs housekeeping services functions to maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the facility for the health, comfort, and safety of residents, staff, and visitors.

Job Standards

1. High school education or equivalent preferred

2. Must have a minimum of one year housekeeping

    experience.

3. Ability to understand written and verbal instructions,

   directions, schedules, policies, and procedures.

4. Ability to work independently, with a team and in          cooperation with others

5. Ability and availability to work:

• Weekends not to exceed two per month
• Holidays not to exceed two per year

6. Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities              in a fast-paced environment. 

7.  Ability to communicate effectively.

8. Ability to know or learn how to use housekeeping

    equipment, economical use of supplies, care of

    equipment, and health care cleaning technique.

9. Ability to safely perform all essential job functions          without causing harm to self or others with or                without reasonable accommodation.
