Location: Port Arthur, TX

Days/Hours: Mon-Friday 7am -3 pm

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform proper decoking techniques by following all associated procedures
• Working with the operator to un-head and re-head the coke drums
• Performing the final sweep of the coke drum.
• Operate bridge crane to maintain proper pit & pad storage and load coke.
• Maintain good and open communication with the crane operator, supervisors, managers, and maintenance personnel via radio and other proper means.
• Help maintenance personnel with equipment maintenance when additional manpower is needed.
• Properly inspect the equipment before and post operating.
• Report any maintenance needs and conduct frequent audits on the crane and other heavy equipment.
• Complete all necessary documentation as required 
• Perform proper rail switching procedures and learn to operate locomotives to transport petroleum coke to staging areas.
• Learn other positions as time permits

Requirements to Be Successful in This Position:

• High school diploma/GED required 
• Bridge Crane experience preferred 
• Mechanically inclined and able to work independently 
• Committed to safety and adherence to operational policies 
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (physical, reference, drug, motor vehicle report, background check) 
• Experience in the oil field or other industrial environment preferred

Here Are Some of The Physical Requirements for This Role:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently 
• Handle large tools and climb on/off equipment 
• Comfortable with heights and able to kneel or crawl 
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
