We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Multilingual Teacher who is fluent in both Mandarin and Spanish as well as English to join our vibrant community. Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Mandarin and Spanish to elementary students in a two-language setting, with a focus on building foundational skills.
  • Provide differentiated instruction that meets the diverse needs of students and supports mastery of content-language objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to incorporate Mandarin and Spanish into interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of formal and informal methods, tailoring instruction to meet each student’s unique learning needs.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding course progress and actively engage them in their child’s education.
  • Work with current Mandarin teacher to grow the after-school program

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification preferred
  • Proven experience teaching Mandarin and Spanish
  • Ability to teach multi-level grades/ages in a flexible and adaptable manner
  • Experience in the elementary grades
  • Strong understanding of Mandarin and Spanish language instruction and effective teaching methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin and Spanish
  • Highly organized and creative with a passion for language education
