As a CDL Class A Truck Driver, you will operate a variety of tractor/trailer combinations including semis, dually, two-car trailers, enclosed trailers, 6-car haulers, and more. You will transport vehicles to various locations locally and across the United States to provide vehicles to our clients for shows, events, and international stages.  

Salary Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $30 per hour based on experience.

CDL Class A Truck Driver Responsibilities Include:  

• Load and unload vehicles onto the truck.
• Operate a variety of tractor/trailer combinations, including semi, dually, two-car trailers, enclosed trailers, 6-car haulers, etc.  
• Transport vehicles to various locations locally and across the United States.  
• Interface on-site with location technicians and client representatives.  
• Ensure contents are properly secured to prevent breakage or damage.  
• Safely and efficiently handle and load/unload goods at selected destinations.  
• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.  
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.  
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.  
• Track and report working hours.  
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.  
• Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.   

CDL Class A Truck Driver Qualifications and Skills:   

• Mechanical and/or car hauling experience is a plus.  
• Valid Driver’s License with CDL-A endorsement. 
• Ability to pass a DOT physical. 
• Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills. 
• Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems. 
• Must have exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.  
• Must be a self-starter.  
• Must be a reliable team player with a high attention to detail.
