Job Summary

Position is responsible for facilitating the processing of agents’ licenses by organizing, compiling data and submitting required forms/information on a timely basis with various state insurance departments.

 

Essential Functions

  • Maintain details and databases to ensure licenses are renewed on a timely basis
  • Ensures contracted agents are in compliance with required training, including NWL product training and state mandated training(s)
  • Communicates with agents regarding contracts, changes and requests information to maintain compliance with licensing requirements
  • Maintains and processes state licensing/appointments renewals and termination
  • Works with external vendor software to track training requirements
  • Maintains agent documents in internal systems
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate agent records
  • Communicate with agents in English and/or Foreign Language.
  • Review, sort, and distribute monthly agent reports to agents and other NWL departments

 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook); PDFs
  • Effective communication skills for sharing appropriate information with Agents and vendors;
  • Insurance licensing knowledge a plus.
  • Fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Strong telephone skills and customer service

 

 

Education & Experience

  • Some College, Associate’s Degree or two years in the insurance industry.

 

Licenses & Certifications

  •  None required
  • Completion of LOMA insurance courses I and II required within first year of employment.

 

Supervision & Leadership

  • No Supervision responsibilities

 

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required. Overtime may be required at peak times. 
  • The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
