Pickle Ball Instructor
Position Title: Pickleball Professional
Location: Kishwaukee Health and Wellness Center
Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $25/hour

Power Wellness is a medical fitness industry pioneer who improves the lives of clients with a unique and customized approach to medical fitness center development and management. Their turnkey method takes away the stress of the development and management process allowing clients to focus on other areas of their business.
The purpose of the Pickleball Professional is to teach group and private lessons in a professional and safe manner to the members and guests of the Center and to assist with special events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Instruct all levels from beginner to advanced
2. Conduct group and private lessons
3. Design and implement lesson plans
4. Ability to demonstrate pickleball stroke techniques
5. Able to properly evaluate students for placement in lesson groups or leagues
6. Assist members with pickleball equipment needs
7. Attend all scheduled and required meetings
8. Assist with sale of Pro Shop items
9. Program development; assist in developing and coordinating member retention activities, maintain accurate records for classes, assist in development of new opportunities for members by offering insight and input
10. Assist with Main Group Exercise Studio cleanliness and general maintenance
11. Enforcement of center policies and rules
12. Assist with promotional activities and events
13. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
14. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and in ongoing work-related relationships with all persons in other departments and at the Centers including but not limited to members, guests and employees as provided in the Employee Handbook
15. Participate in Company's HIPAA and related training
16. Demonstrate Power Wellness Core Values & Beliefs
17. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of various types of league play, preferred
- CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with members in a positive, service-based manner.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor.
