Program Manager
About the Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses 6+ years of related experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will perform strategic planning, coordination, and execution oversight of architectural and engineering (A&E) programs across warehouse and distribution facilities for clients across the United States. This role ensures alignment with client’s operational goal, while managing design standards, permitting, stakeholder engagement, and long-range capital planning. Projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design projects. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Lead and manage a portfolio of capital expansion and renovation programs from concept through handover, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Interface with key stakeholders (Real Estate, Operations, Construction) to define program goals and technical requirements.
- Design Oversight: Drive standardization of A&E solutions across regions, maintaining Amazon’s design guidelines and managing updates to specifications.
- Planning and Forecasting: Develop multi-year capital plans, coordinate permitting strategies, and ensure program readiness in line with Amazon's growth trajectories.
- Consultant and Vendor Management: Oversee selection and performance of A&E consultants and program support vendors.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Provide program-level dashboards, KPIs, and progress reporting to leadership.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or civil engineering
- 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years’ experience managing large-scale projects with complex and multi facilities across the United States
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or industrial facility planning and execution.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting, and construction methodologies.
- Proficient in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and project portfolio platforms.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
- Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
Optional Qualifications:
- PMP or PgMP certification.
- Familiarity with LEED, WELL, or other sustainability frameworks
