Vice President - Asset Integrity

Lead strategic direction and execution for the Energy division, with a focus on expanding services, technology capabilities, and geographic presence.

Serve as a regional senior leader representing the company’s presence in the Central U.S., including Houston and surrounding energy markets.

Contribute to company-wide leadership discussions, cross-functional initiatives, and organizational development.

Identify and pursue regional growth opportunities, alliances, and market expansion strategies.

Work within and support multi-discipline engineering design teams.

Provide leadership and expert guidance across key technical disciplines:

Corrosion Control Engineering
-
Protective Coatings Systems
-
Cathodic Protection (CP) Design & Monitoring

Induced AC Mitigation
-
Internal Corrosion Analysis and Mitigation

Mechanical Integrity Programs
-
Pipeline Integrity Assessment and Compliance
-
-
Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes standards, regulatory frameworks and best practices:
-
DOT CFR 192, 193, and 195 (Pipeline Safety Regulations)
-
OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration)
-
EPA (Environmental Protection Agency)
-
ASME, API, NACE, IEEE, and other engineering standards.

Champion adoption of advanced technologies and innovation to enhance technical services, client value and operational efficiency.
-
Support regional and national business development with scope of work development proposal strategy, pricing strategies and contract negotiations. Focus would be Commercial and Utility clients with support to other Pond Business units.

Actively participate in client relationship management, strategic account development, and project capture planning.
-
Represent the company at industry forums, technical conferences, and professional associations to build visibility and partnerships.

Lead and support the marketing of technical capabilities, thought leadership, and case studies.
-
Support geographic expansion into non-traditional service areas including Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America.
-
Drive operational excellence in engineering delivery, including resource optimization, schedule performance, and quality management.
-
Implement standardized workflows, engineering tools, and performance tracking systems to ensure high-value outcomes.

Collaborate with project management and delivery teams to align staffing, capabilities, and client expectations.
-
Recruit, develop, mentor and retention of high-performing engineering and technical professionals across multiple locations and disciplines.
-
Foster a culture of safety, organizational integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
-
Implement training, succession planning, and professional growth initiatives aligned with company goals.
-
Support internal strategic initiatives and interdepartmental coordination.
-
Participate in executive-level planning, reporting, and special projects.
-
Perform other duties as assigned by executive leadership to support the organization’s mission and growth objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Materials or related discipline); Master’s or MBA preferred.
-
20+ years of progressive engineering experience in the energy industry, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership or executive capacity.
-
Professional Engineering license preferred.

AMPP certification as Corrosion Specialist and Cathodic Protection Specialist (required)
-
Proven technical proficiency in corrosion engineering, mechanical and pipeline integrity, and asset lifecycle management.

Experience leading multi-office or regional engineering operations is strongly preferred.

Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness and execution discipline.
-
Expertise in client-facing and market engagement roles.
-
Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
-
Deep knowledge of industry regulations and emerging trends in Power, Oil & Gas, and Renewables.
-
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
