Powder Fill Lead 3rd Shift

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, the Powder Fill Lead is responsible for overseeing the powder packaging lines. The lead must adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), One Point Lessons (OPLs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and efficiency of the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the set-up mechanic with setting up the equipment/machines for proper operation, including installation, cleaning, and disassembly of equipment and parts required.
• Efficiently open and close packaging work orders, ensuring accurate information during the packaging run.
• Improve OEE by performing the following, but not limited to, reducing down time and changeover time, improving productivity, eliminate and/or reduce non-value activities, and following schedules.
• Perform reconciliations of components, products, and associated materials.
• Report Safety, Quality, and Performance issues to Manager/Supervisor.
• Delivers the highest quality of product to customers.
• Lead, train, coach, and assist Powder Fill associates.
• Understands how to use applicable ERP systems, and handheld devices.
• Assist in handling all label and label room functions I.e. receiving, issuing, destroying, returns, etc.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must comply with cGMP requirements; specific functions such as paperwork and logbook documentation.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Prior powder fill experience.
• Experience with training associates.
• Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.

Role’s Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
• Physical ability to lift, stand, climb a ladder, bend, etc. within a physically challenging work environment.
