Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Respond quickly and courteously to guest and team member requests, prioritizing safety and comfort.
- Conduct daily property walks and inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and workspaces in clean and safe condition.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to address in-room issues promptly.
- Monitor and report major repair needs or safety hazards to engineering leadership.
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure long-term functionality of systems and equipment.
- Support special projects, renovations, or seasonal maintenance as needed.
- Uphold all safety, security, and OSHA standards while on duty.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
Who You Are
- A hands-on, solutions-focused professional who takes pride in being reliable and resourceful.
- Skilled in one or more trades, with the ability to quickly learn hotel systems and equipment.
- Calm under pressure, able to assess problems and take swift, effective action.
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage time efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Experienced in hotel or commercial maintenance preferred, but not required—we’ll train the right candidate.
- Holds or willing to obtain required certifications or licenses per local regulations.
