Salary Range:
Licensed Salary Range: $65,100-75,000
Unlicensed Rate: $62,100
The annual salary for this position will be determined based on years of qualified experience.

Job Summary:
The Intensive Treatment Program (ITP) will include working with adolescents, typically 12 – 18 years old that are diagnosed on the Autism spectrum with mental health concerns and developmental or intellectual disabilities. The Clinical Therapist- ITP is responsible for providing high quality support and services for the children we serve and their families. They utilize effective communication and interaction skills with students, children, families, team members, and outside professionals to promote success and help those we serve achieve the highest possible quality of life. This position will have shared responsibility for daytime, evening, and weekend hours
Essential Job Duties:
1. Provide individual counseling and crisis counseling as appropriate
2. Provide family sessions and family contact as necessary
3. Complete required paperwork (all client contacts, progress notes, treatment plans and reviews)
4. Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care on behalf of families
5. Attend all treatment team meetings
6. Case management and coordination with other service providers and families
7. Crisis Management
8. Perform crisis on call phone duties on a rotating basis including documentation
9. Provide support and explanation to RTF staff regarding clients
10. Reading and sending emails internally to keep staff informed
11. Attend meetings (multidisciplinary meetings, red flag meetings, school and supervision etc.)
12. Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Education Required:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
Experience Required:
- At least 1 year of experience working with children with developmental disabilities and their families in a Social Work or Mental Health setting. This may include an internship.
License/Certification Requirements:
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- Must have one of the following NYS Licensure: LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMHC-P or;
- NYS Licensure eligible and obtain licensure within 6 months from date of hire
Training:
• Continuing education as per NYS Office of Profession guidelines
• All required agency trainings (including Applied Behavior Analysis, SCIP-R)
• All trainings required by programs in which you service individuals
• New Hire Orientation
