Supply Chain - Production Planner

Job Assignment Summary:

Manage the daily production schedules for your assigned manufacturing facility. Ensure production work orders are properly managed which will allow products to be manufactured for either in-stock replenishment or customer orders to be shipped. Responsible for maintaining a high level of scheduling efficiency and
optimization, considering material availability, customer order delivery dates, warehouse availability and product parameters. Responsibilities also include coordinating orders and forecasted demands for various products to reach minimum production quantity requirements. Ensure material availability by working with appropriate Material
Planner(s) and Buyers to track incoming material shipments and coordinating product production dates in support of customer service fulfillment expectations. This role has daily communication with operations management, material planners, logistics, customer service, and other internal teams regarding production or delivery issues.

Qualifications: College Graduate: Supply Management Degree with high aptitude for learning plus 2-5 years supply
management experience, (preferably in in manufacturing facility)
Degree(s): Undergraduate degree
Certification(s): CPIM certification desired
Technical Competencies:
- Must possess solid analytical skills
- Proactive individual who can multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with ERP such as JDE or SAP
- Experience with production/supply chain planning
- Intuitive thinker with strong interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain
cooperation
- Organizational skills
