Role Overview

This position is responsible for the processing and follow up of Domestic customer orders. The position requires extensive follow-thru with operations and logistics to assure the timely delivery and accurate billing of customer orders. The position involves heavy customer interaction with high phone volume and computer usage.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely entry of customer orders
  • Handle daily service and order activities.
  • Work closely with plant schedulers and transportation group to securing on-time deliveries
  • Play critical role in developing customer relationships and resolving customer issues
  • Maintain master file information
  • Invoice orders and complete month-end closing transactions
  • Upload invoices to third-party portals as required
  • Entry of credits, debits, and sample order requests
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Recording and reporting on ongoing issues
  • Prioritizing tasks
  • Maintaining standards

 

Qualifications

  • Previous customer/sales service experience recommended
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and phone skills
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Organized
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Able to handle multiple tasks with multiple interruptions
  • Basic level of Word, Excel, and internet skills
  • Familiarity with SAP, JDE or similar ERP environment desirable
  • College degree preferred

  • Salary Range: $25.87 - $31.90 per hour
