Responsibilities:
The candidate must possess the skills and ability to provide the leadership necessary to guide a student-centered experience for young women guided by our Gospel values. This candidate will provide a lead a co and extracurricular program that provides for social, emotional and spiritual growth in fulfillment of the school’s goal to educated young women who are college and career ready, independent and faith-filled. This candidate leads the Student Services area to provide the necessary safety infrastructure that monitors student attendance, discipline, counseling services, health and transportation. Additionally, this member of the building team will participate in working with the motivation and evaluation of the instructional team, as it relates to meeting curricular targets and measures for efficacy. Along with other members of the school’s administrative team, this instructional leader will work develop faculty and staff, design policies and procedures, use data to drive continuous school improvement, drive student program innovation that compliments the academic program and engage the broader community in marketing and recruitment efforts by showcasing the broad spectrum of student opportunities at St. Hubert.
Duties:
Determine, in consultation with the Principal, policies and guidelines for student activities, athletics, and codes of behavior:
1. Prepare and coordinate the school activities program with the assistance of the activity and club moderators in consultation with the President and Principal.
2. Develop standards for monitoring the extra and co-curricular programs and expectations for activity moderators.
3. Design opportunities for student-led activities in line with the school’s mission and strategic vision.
4. Oversee the school athletic program with the assistance of the Athletic Director and coaches, in consultation with the Principal and President.
5. Ensure adherence to, and enforcement of, all PIAA and PCL rules and regulations.
6. Hold the activity moderators and coaches to a standard of conduct and communication that benefits the school’s retention and marketing efforts.
7. Prepare and distribute homeroom materials, daily announcements.
8. Prepare the monthly and yearly calendars in consultation with the other administrators.
9. Coordinate scheduling of all school activities, assemblies and use of the auditorium and gymnasium.
10. Coordinate bus transportation for school and school activities.
11. Supervise the recording of student attendance, lateness, demerits and suspension records.
12. Inform the Principal of discipline concerns, school problems, and emergencies.
13. Assign student lockers and assume responsibility for repair and maintenance.
14. Establish dialogue with parents, students and faculty concerning problems of student attendance, lateness and conduct and document accordingly; dismissals must be with the consultation with the President and Principal.
15. Act as the liaison between students and faculty in discipline concerns.
16. Supervise the Health Office and oversee the procedure for sending students home from this office. Prepares all reports as required for the Office of Catholic Education.
17. If necessary, coordinate the Parents’ Association.
18. Plan, practice and supervise the safe evacuation or confinement of all school personnel in the event of an emergency.
19. Process early dismissal requests from parents.
20. Approve all signs and posters for display in public areas of the school.
21. Serve as the administrative representative to the Student Assistance Team.
22. Develop budgets for all major activities, e.g. Baccalaureate, graduation, proms, dances, etc. as well as supervising budgets for all activities to provide to moderators.
23. Ensure that moderators and coach salaries and stipends are correctly compensated.
24. Participate in the evaluation of teachers.
25. Supervise the staff of the Office of the Assistant Principal.
26. Assume responsibilities delegated by the Principal or President.
Qualifications:
● Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in educational administration
● Pennsylvania Principal Certification preferred
● Administrative or supervisory experience are desired where applicable.
● Applicants to be practicing Catholics as verified by the pastor of the parish in which they are members.

PA required clearances and official transcripts will be required before employment can begin.
The Office of Catholic Education may waive qualifications relating to experience and education if such a waiver is warranted by other considerations.
