Mustang Cat is hiring a proactive Rental Haul Truck Dispatcher to coordinate the delivery and pick-up of construction and industrial rental equipment across our territory. In this role, you’ll serve as the central point of communication between customers, drivers, and rental branches, ensuring on-time equipment movement that supports job site productivity.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, logistics experience, and a background in CAT equipment dispatching or rental fleet operations.

🚛 What You’ll Do as a Haul Truck Dispatcher:

As a Rental Equipment Dispatcher, you’ll play a key role in field operations by managing schedules, coordinating driver assignments, and supporting the timely movement of machinery across job sites. Responsibilities include:

    • Dispatch haul trucks through Integrated Rental Dispatch software
    • Communicate continuously with customers, sales reps, drivers, and rental branches
    • Monitor the status of equipment orders, deliveries, and returns
    • Open, review, and close work orders
    • Coordinate branch-to-branch transfers of rental fleet equipment
    • Ensure all delivery and pick-up logistics align with customer expectations

📋 Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
    • Professional communication across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
    • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
    • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
    • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, logistics-driven environment

✅ Strongly Preferred Experience:

    • Bilingual English/Spanish
    • Previous dispatch experience in transportation, equipment rental, or field service
    • Familiarity with CAT equipment or construction machinery
    • Experience using Integrated Rental Dispatch or related fleet dispatch software
    • Knowledge of Houston and surrounding geographic areas
