Job Summary

Develop individualized designs to meet customer inputs and provide technical support.

Job Duties

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure organizational and or client requirements are met
  • Communicate with clients by answering questions, offering solutions and supporting sales
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the product(s) and ensure that adaptations to applications provide solutions to customer needs
  • May provide technical training to clients or internal users
  • Manage documentation on their work, including marketing materials and product databases
  • Create individual and assembly/layout drawings to meet customer specifications, and maintain drawing records/revisions
  • Use computer aided design programs (AutoCAD & Solidworks)
  • Provide cost estimates on products for sales purposes
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

  • Perform work under direct supervision
  • Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
  • Possess a beginning to working knowledge of the subject matter
  • Typically require a bachelor's degree and 0 to 2 years of experience
