Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to join our engineering team at Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests and staff by maintaining, repairing, and optimizing all hotel HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose HVAC system issues and perform repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor energy usage and recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with the facilities team to support overall hotel operations.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification (REQUIRED).
• Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience (hotel or commercial setting preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights.

Ability to stand, walk, and work in various environmental conditions for extended period
