As a Wheel Nut Assembly Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for operating assigned mechanical equipment, ensuring the quality of our products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. - Position Type: Hourly, Full Time
- Work Hours: Friday - Sunday | 6:00am – 6:00pm
- Pay Range:
- $18.13 – $21.13/hour, depending on experience
- Work Location: Hotform (7034 IL Rt 84, Savanna, IL 61074)
- Reports To: Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned machines to produce components according to specifications.
- Ensure all items meet our strict quality control requirements.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments.
- Interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.
- Complete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standards.
- Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Competencies
- Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.
- Ability to take initiative, demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervision.
- Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Proficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous industrial manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.
- History of reliable attendance record and punctuality - essential to support production timelines and team operations.
