Material Coordinator
The Material Coordinator, Level 1 supports the efficient flow of materials within the manufacturing environment by assisting in shipping coordination and inventory management. This role involves collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to address customer inquiries and resolve basic material or quality concerns.

- Position Type: Full-Time
- Pay Range: $22 - $24/hour
- Work Location: Mundelein, Illinois
- Shift: 10:30am-7pm M-F
- On-Call responsibilities after hours
Key Responsibilities
- Support the scheduling of materials for shipping and help manage trucking logistics under the guidance of senior staff.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address basic customer inquiries and assist with material or quality concerns.
- Compare and organize invoices and receipts, ensuring proper filing and mailing when necessary.
- Assist in running daily reports related to inventory and material usage as directed.
- Participate in regular inventory audits to support inventory accuracy and report findings.
- Complete necessary system entries to maintain accurate inventory records and support operational processes.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills/Competencies
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interpret and apply work instructions, ensuring adherence to procedures and quality standards.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage materials, prioritize tasks, and maintain efficient workflows in a manufacturing environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in inventory management, documentation, and adherence to operational standards.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience.
- Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
