Metrology Laboratory Supervisor

As Metrology Laboratory Supervisor you will be responsible for the supervision of the Molding Metrology Laboratory, the development of accurate inspection methods, the technical training of the personnel under responsibility and the processing of the required metrologies to meet organization requirements and goals.

Shift Available: Monday - Saturday from 2 pm to 10 pm

Job Responsabilities: 

• Define adequate test methods and tools to satisfy specification requirements.
• Train personnel under responsibility in procedures, test methods, techniques, and complex equipment use and metrology software.
• Ensure that correct test methods are being used for specifications requirements.
• Keep adequate and in good conditions of calibration and maintenance equipment in the Metrology laboratory.
• Ensure the adequate quality of equipment to satisfy organization requirements and goals.
• Ensure the right personnel in quantity and in aptitude to satisfy organization requirements and goals.
• Ensure that drawings and specifications are interpreted correctly.
• Communicate to customers the metrology results and issues.
• Ensure that personnel under responsibility adheres to Quality System procedures.
• Continual communication with other departments, internal/external customers in order to coordinate and meet metrology target dates based on criticality to the plant and customer requirements.
• Participates in all the readiness activities required to receive Internal / External / Customer Quality Audits.

Job Requirements: 

• High School Degree.
• Bilingual English / Spanish: Basic English level, reading comprehension and writing.
• Current student of Bachelor degree in Engineering or Science (such as Physics, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, other) with a minimum of 50% of the career. (Preferred)
• Experience and knowledge with OGP & Smart Scopes (Preferred)

Job Experience:

• From 0 to 2 years work experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising personnel.
