The Occupational Therapist works under the Early Intervention Program Director as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to children birth to three years of age in a family-centered program.  The Occupational Therapist works directly with the children and their families in the child’s natural environment including but not limited to the child’s home and/or daycare settings. They coordinate with families, multidisciplinary team members, and outside providers, as appropriate to maximize positive developmental and learning outcomes for children and families served.

• Completing assessments and writing objectives
• Developing functional activities to meet the needs of the students
• Providing in-services to classroom staff
• Consulting to classroom staff regarding students' OT needs
• Providing direct service when deemed necessary
• Performing related occupational therapy services as assigned

• Graduate of an approved program in occupational therapy
• Valid and current license as an OT in Massachusetts
• Demonstrated commitment to student progress
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative of multi-tasking
