LSSI is hiring a full-time Case Aide. To provide a portion of the support for the Recovery Home team. Provide updates to the recovery team including O.P. staff. The Case Aide will also be responsible for the monitoring the milieu, observing clients during medication times and documentation.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide case management for the clients.
  • Responsible for encouraging, monitoring, and maintaining a therapeutic environment.
  • Responsible for outreach to other agencies to increase referrals and engagement from the community.
  • Assess the client’s ability to meet admission criteria and placement.
  • Compete intake packets for admission into program.
  • Schedule intakes and walk-throughs.
  • Conduct weekly discussions with clients regarding program fees.
  • Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.

Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Background check required.
  • Annual TB Test.
  • Ability to effectively utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) as it an essential tool to complete clinical documentation and other job functions.
  • Ability to utilize NOWPOW to conduct case management for the clients.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency preferred and access to reliable transportation preferred.
  • Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage preferred.
