LSSI is hiring a part-time Case-Aide Coordinator, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The Case Aide will provide supportive leadership to the Case Aide team at Healthy Start Recovery Home program. Assist clinical staff in providing services to Recovery Home clients, including monitoring the milieu, observing clients during medication times, and documentation. Provide supportive coverage to Elgin Residential Rehabilitation program, as needed.

 Essential Functions: 
  • Assist with training and onboarding new Case Aide staff.
  • Collaborate with Healthy Start West Recovery Home team members, other LSSI programs, and external partners in order to provide quality, whole-person care and services to Healthy Start West Recovery Home clients.
  • Make client referrals and linkages.
  • Maintain a therapeutic environment on the unit.
  • Monitor milieu and assist clinical IOP staff, including communicating any changes in a client’s presentation or needs to a member of the clinical staff.
  • Complete all required EHR documentation in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with Emergency Procedures.
  • Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, and other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
 Position Qualifications: 
  • High School diploma or GED 
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Annual TB test required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in substance use field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using EHR, documentation, and review required.
  • Familiarity with accreditation and licensure standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Occasional driving may be required.
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing for the state of residency.
